Congratulations to Brian Myers and Mike Pfaff for each winning a pair of Indians tickets.  Unfortunately it was our smallest turnout of the year as the nice weather and record breaking temps kept players away, but we still had the 7 teams necessary to make it a qualifier and run the money shot.

Brian Myers won the 4 bag pitch-off portion of the money shot and the team of Dave Reschke and Dave Weiser defeated Stacia Pugh and Kurt Mott by winning back to back Championship games by a score of 21-20.  Two incredible games that kept going back and forth, but in the end, Dave Reschke ended up with the certificate and an entry into the Ohio Cornhole Tour Championships.

Next event is a doubleheader at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Friday night 5/18.

Each tournament was double elimination with single games being played.

Tournament #1 had the team of Keith Geho and Phil Budnick taking the title by defeating the team of Jim Cahill and Steve Wendling.

Tournament #2 saw two players win their first certificate as Bill Sobleskie Jr and Steve Wendling defeated Thomas Martin and George Davis Jr.

Also for the first time we ran the money shot twice.  The first one saw the four bag pitch-off won by Shawn Burns with Jim Cahill second.  The second money shot was won by Keith Geho who tied George Davis Jr, but won the tiebreaker.  Also, George Davis Jr made three bags to win $60 in the overall money shot.
