Championship Rules
The Ohio Cornhole Championships will be a Blind Draw tournament where each player that qualified for the event and attends will be randomly partnered with one other player that qualified. The exact format of the tournament will be determined once the date and location have been finalized. Most likely it will feature a double elimination format and the event will be held in the Fall of 2012 with as much advanced notice as possible.
The Championship prize pot will grow throughout the year as more and more qualifying events occur. 10% of the entry fees from qualifying tournaments and the money shot are put directly into the Championship pot, so nobody knows just how much will be in there when the 2012 tour comes to an end.
We will be using rules as described by the Cornhole Players Association. All games will be a race to 21 (yes, you can go over 21) to determine a winner. Click here for all CPA rules.
